Lauryn's friend Halle turned 5 recently with an all out art party. There was a real art teacher there to teach the girls through a complete art project. This also happened to be the first party Lauryn's attended where I could just drop her off and not stay. I stayed long enough to help Halle's mom with lunch and most of the art project. I must admit that it felt a little strange to realize that Lauryn's at the age where I can actually just drop her off to parties. I was actually a little sad. But since I wasn't feeling very well that day and had taken some medicine, it was great to be able to go home and take a nap while Lauryn partied away! I didn't stay sad for long obviously. =)
