Project Runway

John and I couldn't wait until Wednesday night to watch one of our favorite shows: Project Runway on Bravo. Ever since 2 weeks ago when they announced the final 3 designers, we were just so excited to see who would win. And on Wednesday night after the kids were in bed, we found ourselves glued to the tv and clapping nonstop at the end when our pick for the show, Chloe Dao actually won! I think it was the fact that she was this tiny little Asian woman from Houston that made us cheer for her throughout the show.

I don't remember how the show crept into our lives, but we found ourselves watching since Season 1 last year as we were flipping channels. We'd catch it in bits and pieces early in the season, both of us not willing to admit that we liked it, and then towards the end of the season we'd watch it kinda in hiding, secretly obsessed. Then when Season 2 started, I figured, what the heck, let's just come clean and TIVO it. And what a great descision that has been! It was a liberating experience.

We loved Chloe's designs throughout most of the show. We got really nervous when we saw her collection for the finale. It was very different for her. I didn't like the shiny poofy sleeves and skirts. I actually liked Santino's collection the best out of the three. But I guess the judges were on our side! Yay Chloe! John was so proud. He wanted to email her to tell her that we were behind her all the way. =)

It's all your fault! I'm hooked-I now pay my cable company an additional $5/month to get BRAVO just so I can watch Project Runway. Love it! Caught up with most of Season 2 on the plane (love JetBlue's DirecTV). And I too am glad that Chloe won-although I was kinda rooting for Daniel too.
