It seriously takes A LONG TIME!
I was going to make pumpkin pie with the filling, but after a couple of hours I was sick of pumpkins, so I'll just have to get mine from a can.

Those are some seriously impressive carvings, Amy! Wow! (We meant to carve pumpkins with the kids this year, too. It's November now, and our pumpkins are still just pumpkins... ;))
